During their time together, Jalon made this impactful comment, "I just want to lead with love," which is the inspiration for this podcast.
Rev Karla discusses quotes from spiritual leaders who lead with love: Jesus, Buddha, Rumi, Thich Nhat Hanh, Gandhi, Lao Tzu, and she explores 10 principles she's developed for leading and living a life centered around love. These principles include forgiveness, gratitude, compassion, kindness, empathy, and self-care. She emphasizes the importance of empathy and understanding and embracing others' experiences and choosing love as a guiding force in all decisions and actions. Rev Karla encourages listeners to reflect on their own paths to living a life guided by love.
